The issue is: what kind of existence the prophets have in the Hereafter? Religious scholar Syed Inayatullah Shah Bukhari opined that it was the belief of the Jews that the Prophets remain alive in their graves. He is no longer alive and will not take issue with him but his son is alive and he should explain. Can he bring one hadith or Quranic verse to say that the prophets cannot listen to what we address to them?

I have founds a hadith which says the prophets are alive in their graves and that they say namaz there too. I ask Syed Ziaullah Shah, Qari Ismatullah and Maulana Tayyab to say they don’t like this hadith about prophets being alive in graves and if they do then bring one hadith in defence. Meanwhile I ask you all to say this hadith aloud till the city accepts or those who don’t leave the city.

I ask these three scholars to find one hadith denying what I say and I will become their follower, but I know they will die before they can find the hadith to defend themselves. I ask the audience not to be afraid because you have the hadith on your side. Confront these scholars and tell them they are wrong! The prophets are alive in their graves and they can hear you!

Look at what Ziaullah Shah writes in his book Naghma Tauhid: that prophets don’t say namaz in graves. He is therefore an insulter of the Prophet PBUH. He calls them Shaheed and yet describes them as dead! You know Allah says shaheeds are not dead people.
