There are many religious groups in Pakistan but Ahle Hadith is the only one that appeals on the basis of unity and consensus. No Ahle Hadith will say that his group is appealing on behalf of this or that famous sheikhul hadith. In the case of Ahle Hadith you may find the great names on the walls of the city: Hazrat Maulana Ismail Salafi, Hazrat Muhaddas Gondalvi, Sheikhul Hadith Maulana Hazrat Abdullah Sahib, Shaikhul Hadith Maulana Abul Barakat Ahmad and others, but it should be kept in mind that no Ahle Hadith scholar is accepted as final authority in faith.

The Ahle Hadith person declares that his dawa (invitation) is based only on the Quran and the sayings of the Prophet PBUH. Look at others. The Hanafi will say believe my Imam; the Shafei will advocate his Imam Shafei, and these schools who believe in following their imams will often quarrel over whose imam is greater. Among the Ahle Hadith there are no sheiks and no muftis and if you have a problem you will not run to a mullah but will go to the Quran and the example of the Prophet PBUH in hadith.

There are quarrels and fights all over the place these days. For this reason the Youth Force of Ahle Hadith should be organised. All the religious leaders of Ahle Hadith should patronise this Youth Force. We don’t want to fight by employing these young members of Youth Force but we want them to protect our mosques and our ulema and our doctrines.

I ask those who fight over Eid Milad Nabi why are you fighting, why don’t you look up the Holy Quran and look for a solution? But Faisalabad was the scene of gunfire, Dera Ismail Khan has seen violence, but I will tell the government that the only way to stop these fights is by reference to the Quran. In the 63 years of Holy Prophet’s life there were the same number of days of the month of Rabiul Awwal. Not even once did he allow the celebration of his birth. If the Prophet PBUH did not celebrate his birthday why should we have Eid Milad?
